MANNHEIM Closing in Berlin

Dezember 2025

✨ What an inspiring day in Berlin! ✨

At the final event of the BMFTR funding initiative MANNHEIM, all seven research projects came together — and the atmosphere was truly festive. Curiosity, collaboration, and a shared vision for shaping the mobility of tomorrow filled the room.
We are incredibly proud to be part of this journey with autotech.agil. Our mission: bringing agility, standardization, and future readiness to automotive software and electronics architectures — making innovation not just possible, but natural. 🚗⚡

And we were in exceptional company: These projects showcased just how diverse the future of mobility can be:
👉 Mannheim CeCaS – Central Car Server – Supercomputing für Automotive
👉 KI4BoardNet – Integrated agile E/E development for merged and standardized energy and data networks
👉 EMDRIVE – Platform concept for distributed heterogeneous automotive real-time computing network architectures
👉 MEMTONOMY – Storage systems for autonomous driving
👉 FlexKI – Flexible AI deployment and AI platforms for embedded automotive applications
👉 AutoDevSafeOps – Integrated development and operation of safe automotive systems
👉 And us: autotech.agil – Architecture and Technologies for Orchestrating Automotive Agility

💬 What do we take away from this day? A deep sense of gratitude — for the open exchange, the inspiring conversations, and the passionate people pushing the boundaries of automotive technology.
Another highlight was the constructive exchange with representatives from the ministry. We discussed how research funding must evolve to keep pace with today’s rapid technological development — often described as “China speed.” Adapting funding frameworks to this new reality will be essential for strengthening Germany’s and Europe’s position as competitive economic and scientific hubs.

And just as importantly: excitement. Because the outcomes of the MANNHEIM initiative are not an ending — they are a beginning. 🚀
We look forward to continuing our research journey in future projects together with motivated and dedicated teams from research institutions and companies from the automotive sector. 🤝✨
A heartfelt thank you to the BMFTR and to all partners who made this journey possible. We are heading home full of motivation, warmth, and team spirit. 💛
