Intelligent Infrastructure: Digital Test Fields in Ulm, Munich & Aachen

🌍 Three cities. One connected vision.

📖 Our digital twin connects Ulm, Munich, and Aachen – receiving real-time data from high-precision sensors like cameras, lidar, and radar. All detected objects are processed locally and streamed to the twin, where they can be visualized together in one intuitive interface.
⚙️ Germany’s test fields already use advanced sensor technologies, 5G, and IoT for automated driving. But so far, each location has operated separately – with no shared digital twin or standardized interfaces.
💡 For the first time, a modular, scalable digital twin combines the three test fields. Harmonized data creates a single real-time traffic representation – the perfect basis for developing smarter decision-making in automated driving.

📍 Demonstration takes place in our real-world lab at the test site, with live data from Ulm, Munich, and Aachen.
