Emergency Scenario: Coordinated Response of the Connected Mobility System

🚨 When every second counts, coordination is everything.

📖 Imagine a city where vehicles, drone, and control center act as one in an emergency. In our live demonstration, the control center closes routes, guides drivers, and uses drones to monitor traffic from above. With the digital twin, updates spread instantly – so all vehicles can react and keep traffic safe and flowing.
⚙️ Today, drivers react individually to emergencies. Even with vehicle communication standards like ETSI ITS-G5, central coordination is rare, and automated vehicle responses to such situations are still in their infancy.
💡 For the first time, autonomous and connected vehicles respond together to a live incident. The digital twin distributes updates in real time, vehicles recognize sirens, and road and aerial image data are used for scene understanding within the control center – making system-wide emergency coordination reality.

📍 Demonstration takes place in our real-world lab at the test site.

💬 How do you see this kind of coordination transforming emergency response in your city? Let us know in the comments.
